FATAI BANTALE- A Myth in His Own Domain

An articulate young gentleman, Fatai Bantale was born into a Muslim

family of six and a second child in his early thirties. He is a Yoruba C-

ommunications undergraduate of Lagos Sate University, Ojo. Fatai st-

arted broadcasting career in 1998 under the tutelage of Akeem Oyeba-

nji (a.k.a Enudunjuyo). He is gifted in chanting Yoruba poetry (ewi), he

started with OGBC (now Gateway Television), Ogun State before mo-

ving to Eko Fm. Having realized his dexterity in oral poetry, Fatai appro

ached Radio Lagos management and he was given the go-ahead to start

a programme that is basically structured on serial reading of Yoruba liter

ature, he was granted this rare privilege, not because the proposal was u-

nprecedented, but largely due to the fact that it deals with books in the c-

urrent schools curriculum. The programme was tagged “Yoruba Dun Ka”

and it has become a household programme most especially in the South-Western part of the country. This amiable young man could be reached on yorubadunka@yahoo.com; for those of you who want to talk to him directly, just dial +234(0)8023813238

Too Clean? MC Immaculate!

Sunday Adeyemi is one comedian that will keep you glued to your sit when he starts rendering his rib-cracking jokes. A young vibrant member of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria, Lagos chapter, “MC Immaculate” as popularly known in the entertainment sector delights in making people laugh away the sickening stories of epileptic power supply, galloping inflation, and disgusting tidings of people in high places squandering our national resources. Little wonder he was crowned the “Amuludun of Arepo town” (meaning: the one that entertains) by a traditional king in Mowe-Ibafo area of Ogun State. Want to invite him to add life to all your special occasions in Nigeria or oversea? Call MC Immaculate on 234(0)8023551929.
