Biodun Adejumo (a.k.a Gbemu), the second male child of Apostle Moses Olaiya Adejumo better known as Baba Sala has revealed his father had not less than 19 wives.
A graduate of Theatre Arts from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife also said arrangement for the final burial of his dad has been scheduled for Thursday and Friday 6th and 7th of December respectively following a family meeting held yesterday Thursday.
He said these on a radio program on Faaji 106.5 Fm anchored by popular broadcaster, Yemi Sonde (a.k.a Jingan Akala) this Friday afternoon and monitored by ONN Magazine when he phoned-in from his base in Ibadan. While trying to reminisce on the dark days of the comedian, Biodun Adejumo revealed that his late father got his ‘baptism of fire’ after he completed the shooting of his film “Orun Mooru” and dad’s driver connived with others to pirate the Film. Unfortunately, the said driver was a younger brother to one of Baba Sala’s wives. “My father sold his building at Mushin to offset the 5 million Naira loan he got from a bank to shoot Orun Mooru”, Biodun did not mince words.
The loan, according to Biodun was facilitated by late politician, Chief Obafemi Awolowo while late Chief Modupe Johnson, a minister then gave five of his building structures as collateral.
